Production Technology Capability
Tasty, Fun, and Innovative
The Production Facilities at Shinobu Foods
Across Shinobu Foods, we produce an average of more than one million meals per day. Here, we present the equipment that makes this speed--and flavor--possible.
Sheet Filling Mold and Toppingless Sensor
For Fluffy Rice Fast
Our ever-evolving rice ball molds. To achieve an even fluffier texture, we have adopted a "sheet filling" mold method. The molding machine installed at our Osaka Plant can produce as many as 3,000 fluffy rice balls per hour.
Thorough Inspections Using a Mechanical Eye
A camera sensor has been installed after the filling process. If a worker makes a mistake with the topping, this mechanical eye will detect whether the filling is there and automatically stop the machine.
Superheated Steam Cooking Facilities
Kansai Plant, Keiji Plant, Hiroshima Plant, Shikoku Plant
Cooking With Superheated Steam
Using the high thermal efficiency of superheated steam allows for quick cooking, which, when combined with the cooking of individual meals to bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients, adds greater depth to flavors.
From Rice Bowls to Grilled Meat, One Meal at a Time
Superheated steam cooking can be used for boiling, grilling, and steaming. Cooking everything from rice bowls to hamburgers and grilled meat one meal at a time helps achieve flavors close to that of a home-cooked meal or a restaurant.
Stir Fryer
For Evenly Cooked, Non-Clumpy Rice
The flat pan installed over a stove has better heat efficiency than traditional pans, distributing heat evenly. The stirring arm rotates around an axis extending from the top, mixing rice and ingredients thoroughly to produce uniformly flavored, fluffy fried rice.
