Employment and Labor Initiatives
Employment of People with Disabilities
To create a society of mutual respect and coexistence regardless of ability, we will ensure appropriate employment opportunities for people with disabilities that take into consideration individual idiosyncrasies and create a workplace environment where, through the employment of people with disabilities, anyone can work with ease.
We proactively partner with prefectures, municipalities, schools, support organizations, and centers to offer workplace tours, internships, and career counseling on a broad scale.
Employment of Foreign Nationals
In an effort to promote diversity, Shinobu Foods is committed to creating an organization that brings out the best of our diverse workforce's capabilities, regardless of nationality. We place interpreters in plants to facilitate communication and conduct thorough training on basic rules, health, and sanitation to ensure that all employees, regardless of language or cultural background, are able to work together to produce high-quality products.
Promoting Women's Careers
We aim to create a work environment where women can thrive in a wide range of fields and professions.
Training of Female Candidates for Management Positions
This training is for female candidates for management positions (section manager, team leader) to understand the roles expected by the company (HR development, business improvement, team building, and problem solving) and to strengthen management and leadership skills.
Female Leader Development Training
This training is for female employees in supervisory roles to promote autonomy by fostering self-growth and the ability to train subordinates to enable them to excel and contribute as leaders.
Parenting Support
Support systems for parenting have been enhanced to create a workplace environment that allows employees to continue their careers and work long-term even after childbirth and childcare.
Reduced working hours and care leave system
We have established systems that allow employees with preschool-age children to work reduced hours for childcare and to take leave to care for sick children.
Maternity and paternity leave system
53 employees have taken maternity/paternity leave in the past 5 years. Employees returning from paternity leave also undergo biannual interviews with supervisors and the HR Department to collect feedback and implement improvements.
Training system
We offer diverse training programs to support employee growth. From new hires to executives, we provide appropriate support to boost individual skills and experience.
